Paul received his degree at the Colorado School for Traditional Chinese Medicine. In addition to the demanding requirements of the curriculum, Paul increased his education outside the school. He completed a 4200-hour internship under the guidance of Dr. Wenying Lin (MD China). He also completed a six-part workshop in 5-element acupuncture. Finally, Paul earned a certificate in nutritional counseling. Paul is part of Craig Hospital's Complimentary Alternative Medicine (CAM) program. The CAM program combines the expertise of Colorado's top medical doctors and acupuncturists and applies this knowledge to Craig Hospital's most difficult cases. This complimentary approach is the first of its kind in Colorado and is being used as a model for other applications. | |||||||||||||||||||
Paul received training from Dr. XiaoPing Ji, one of the most Famous acupuncturist practicing in China. Dr. Ji is the co-writer of Chinese Acupuncture and Moxibustion (CAM). CAM has been translated in many languages and the majority of all acupuncturists in the United States use this book as a primary reference. Paul is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is a licensed acupuncturist with the state of Colorado. Paul believes that health is achieved by balancing the body's energies, emotionally, physically, and nutritionally. He practices by first listening to his patient's cares and concerns and second by taking a holistic approach to solving the problem. Paul has a caring nature and treats each patient like they are family. Paul is the founder of Acupuncture Associates, the largest acupuncture group of acupuncturist's in Colorado.
